CSMART is looking for an L&D Coordinator for 40 hours a week to support the Maritime Professional Development (MPD) department.

This is your chance to become part of our fast growing international organization as L&D Coordinator. Do you get excited when championing the advancement of our training systems and reporting standards? Then we are looking for you!

You’ll be part of a driven team with four colleagues, all with their own specialities, such as competency development, human factors, L&D and analytics. Your colleagues are located in the UK, however travel often to Almere, the Netherlands where the majority of our entire workforce is based.

As L&D Coordinator you’ll play a pivotal role maintaining and enhancing the learning system, reporting standards and supporting your senior colleagues with the development and enhancement of training procedures and other L&D projects.

What will you amongst others be doing?

  • You will be responsible for our learning & development systems, from user management and version control to supporting the scoping, development, testing and implementation of core and new functionality;

  • You will be responsible for tracking and maintaining several dashboards in PowerBI, as well as validating any data with stakeholders and supporting any reporting requests and/or new developments;

  • You’ll support your senior colleagues with the development and enhancement of training procedures as well as L&D related projects such as continuous work on competency based learning approaches.

What are we amongst others looking for?

  • A bachelor degree in a relevant field, e.g. L&D, Data, IT, Systems;

  • Experience in system maintenance and/or development of Learning Management Systems or similar;

  • Experience in interpreting data and creating reports, ideally using APIs and PowerBI;

  • Previous experience with project management, preferably in the L&D/System arena;

  • Planning and problem solving skills, you want to make sure you get the right things done at the right time and your system is user friendly and spot-on. Bonus points if you ever had testing responsibilities on a system and managed to break the test environment while testing
