We’re looking for an experienced Compensation professional. You’ll will utilize data-driven insights to optimize workforce strategies and enhance organizational performance. Reporting directly to the VP, Human Resources, the role will ensure optimal staffing levels across various departments and functions and spearhead workforce planning initiatives to support the company's operational objectives to enhance guest satisfaction. This role is responsible for delivering forecasts, identifying upcoming shortages, and mobilizing the team to resolve. Further, this role will look for other trends and make recommendations for remedy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive workforce planning strategies aligned with the company's short-term and long-term goals and participate in and develop strategic planning strategies for manning along with the Sr. Director and VP.

  • Hire, develop and measure a team managing the work of all direct and indirect reports following established organizational policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Conduct regular analysis of workforce trends and demographic shifts to anticipate future talent requirements and mitigate potential shortages identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in resource allocation, scheduling, and deployment to share with senior leadership.

  • Work closely with department heads and operational teams to assess staffing requirements and optimize workforce utilization managing within annual plan.

  • Develop and maintain staffing models to ensure adequate coverage while minimizing labor costs and maximizing productivity for inclusion in annual plan monitoring through the year to stay within plan. Work with external manning partners to set quarterly hiring targets.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to attract and recruit top talent across diverse roles and functional areas working through obstacles to fully man ships and conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to address specific business questions or challenges related, but not limited to productivity, shortages, visas, medicals, and travel.

  • Utilize workforce analytics tools and methodologies to gather, analyze, and interpret data related to staffing levels, performance metrics, and key workforce indicators to analyze workforce productivity data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations building strategic plans to communicate and resolve issues.

  • Understand and abide by all legal and compliance standards across the fleet regarding visas, medicals, and any other required standard.

  • Build the strategy for data and reporting developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate insights effectively and prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting trends, insights, and actionable recommendations to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years experience in workforce planning within the hospitality, travel, or maritime industry.

  • 5+ years of experience in analysis and metrics development

  • 5+ years of experience in supervisory role within Workforce Management

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Proven experience in operational research, people analytics, workforce analytics, or a similar analytical role.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in workforce analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.

  • Ability to communicate ideas and recommendations to all levels within the Company

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet stringent deadlines

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of driving results, managing change, and building high-performing teams.

  • Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to workforce management and employee relations.

  • Flexibility to travel and work onboard Princess Cruise Line vessels as needed.

  • Base Salary Range: $136,100.00 to $183,70.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
