Carnival Cruise Line Food and Beverage Coordinator in Miami, Florida

Job Description

Supporting role to culinary and food operations department, with day-to-day maintenance of administrative duties, research, Data Management, and coordination of equipment and supplies to ships upon request of shipboard and shore side management.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate Galley, and other F & B Equipment repairs with the Ships, Vendor and Centergate, which includes repair programs for galley equipment such as induction ovens, woks, stick blenders, etc. Track Warranties and Repair Contracts.

  • Maintain General Galley Equipment logs which is regularly submitted by each ship.

  • Assist with the development and preparation of training materials which may include some internet research, help with putting presentations together, ordering supplies and make sure it is in place at the agreed time.

  • Maintain and update Ship’s Event Calendar, Schedule meeting and events

  • Prepare requisitions in the iProcurement system for the food department (office & shipboard) and maintain organized filing system. Prepare requisitions in the InfoShip system for service to be completed onboard the ships. Setup New Vendors in Global Supply system, process invoices through MarkView and follow up on payments.

  • Provide support with Travel Schedules and Mileage Expenses, T&E statements, and other reimbursement forms for approval.

  • Maintain and update the Food Service Procedures on the Global Hess Safety Management System.

  • Maintain and update Menus in FSS (Fun Sail System), as well as editing information on menus in Adobe InDesign. Print Menus, Forms, and other requests

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Hospitality or related field

  • 1+ years of experience in Administrative responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong multi-tasking abilities

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organization abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Basic Knowledge of Adobe CSS and InDesign

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.

Travel: Minimal shore-based or no travel.

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

The range for this role’s base salary is $18.00 - $23.07 per hour. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
