Job Description

The Talent Marketing Specialist drives shoreside recruitment marketing initiatives for the Carnival Cruise Line and Carnival Corporation brands, enhancing brand awareness and attracting diverse candidates. Responsibilities include managing the recruitment social media accounts, managing career site updates, creating marketing materials, supporting HR communications, and tracking budget spend. They collaborate across teams, build networks, and support internal communication initiatives.

Job Functions:

  • Developing and implement employment brand strategies to achieve marketing goals. Oversee research to measure brand awareness and recommend strategy changes. Lead execution of solutions for market positioning, including evaluating potential partners. Partner with Corporate and Brand Marketing, Employee Communications, HRBPs, and TA Recruiters for alignment of brand and marketing strategies. Manage the production of digital and physical marketing materials for online and in person recruitment events.

  • Manage the execution and annual calendar for all TA social media platforms including Instagram, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and Handshake for roles. Create and schedule daily posts, collaborating with ship and shore teams for team member content. Obtain necessary approvals for special announcements from relevant teams like communications and entertainment. Conceptualize and maintain employee Spotlight campaigns to enhance employee engagement and recruitment support. Utilize analytics to refine social media strategies for improved outcomes. Ensure postings promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Develop campaigns featuring active employees for external platforms, aligning with events like Administrative Professionals' Day, International Women's Day, Earth Day, and others. Create content that helps TA to foster relationships with schools, communities, and industry professionals to source qualified candidates, build pipelines for future openings, and enhance brand awareness. Manage the social media accounts for both Corp & Brand CHROs.

  • Career Website: Support management and revision of Jobs Website, including image collection and award updates. Attend weekly meetings with Communications, TA team and website management vendor. Update testimonials and draft outward-facing copy to attract unique talent segments. Ensure all content including DEI and ADA reflects organizational messaging and review verbiage for compliance. Create ad hoc content pages that highlight departments, employees and in-person events. Maintain a library of current and projected changes to site layout, imagery, and copy.

  • Communication: Ensure alignment with HR Centers of Expertise and support their communication efforts. Execute communication initiatives such as Open Enrollment, performance reviews, and ESPP. Aid in the development and execution of selected newsletters (e.g., Miramar Wellness Newsletter, interdepartmental HR comms). Provide support for HR initiatives with written, web, video, and audio collateral development. Assist in planning and executing HR employee events and webinars. Stay updated on relevant industry, economic, societal, and governmental issues affecting HR communications needs.

  • Budget/Reporting: Monitor expenses against TA and HR Communications budgets. Obtain leader approval for all expenditures and external commitments. Generate purchase orders and code small dollar invoices. Generate and present regular reports showcasing the performance of Talent Acquisition Marketing tools and strategies. Effectively communicate recommendations and ROI to relevant stakeholders.

  • Special projects that support the overall HR, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications, Business, HR or related field required.

  • Work Experience: 2-3 years of experience managing social media platforms and branding in a large corporation environment. 1-2 years of experience writing copy that translate culture and brand identity.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience with applicant tracking systems, client management systems, social media platform tracking and measurement software (ADP VE, Cornerstone, Taleo, Workday, iCIMS, Tableau, Broadbean, SmashFly, etc.). Advanced use of Excel to manipulate data and convert to presentation-worthy form, Word, PowerPoint, or other current presentation software. Marketing insights & analytics. Project management. Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or any other photo and video editing software. Experience with Canva. Marketing or Google SEO analytic tools.

Ability to deliver effective results, meet deadlines and targets. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Exposure to recruiting best practices. Recruiting experience in a search firm would be considered.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • SHRM Certification preferred

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.

Travel: Less than 25% with ship-based travel likely.

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

The range for this role’s salary $51,600-75,300. Offers to the selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
