Carnival Cruise Line Maritime OT Cyber Safety Analyst in Southampton, United Kingdom

Job Description

We recognise the value in having people with a variety of backgrounds, experience and skills in our business. That means the role requirements here should be seen as a guide, not a checklist. If you have more, less or different experiences, but really relevant skills, we’d love to hear from you.

We work flexibly and will help you to find a healthy balance of remote working and time in our fantastic Southampton office, collaborating, taking part in events and getting to know people that makes working with us so rewarding. We welcome the opportunity to discuss reduced hours and job share arrangements.

The Role

The Maritime OT Cyber Safety Analyst serves as the crucial link between Carnival UK and Carnival Corporation’s Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS) team. This role is pivotal in supporting maritime cyber safety operational technology (OT) compliance, project management, and overall operations.

Key responsibilities include facilitating cyber procedure awareness and training programs, addressing audit findings, and managing corrective and preventive action plans. The analyst coordinates brand-specific cyber safety projects and oversees deployment tasks, collaborating closely with shipboard staff to ensure seamless implementation.

This position demands a proactive approach to maintaining robust cyber safety standards across all maritime operations, ensuring both compliance and security in a dynamic environment.

• Support the Carnival UK fleet and the GCS organization’s OT cyber safety program by managing audit findings and self-reported non-conformities, including conducting root cause analysis, creating corrective/preventative action plans, implementing procedural protection measures, and cyber training/awareness

• Assist with OT cyber safety project delivery integration by coordinating deployment tasks with the brand shipboard and shoreside staff and attending project meetings

• Support OT cyber safety risk assessments, Pen Tests, and remediation efforts, collaborate with appropriate teams, identify recovery plans, and create cyber incident documentation

• Third-party contact for fleetwide system updates and processes (e.g., password changes, OT system inventory, patching).

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with hybrid working including up to two days from home.
